Spray good-bye to rust on stainless steel

In harsh environments, stainless steel is susceptible to corrosion. Over time, rust discolors, weakens it and can eventually render it unusable. CitriSurf 2310 Stainless Steel Cleaner and Passivation Formula not only removes rust, but protects the surface from harsh environments by forming an inert surface layer which helps prevent future rust and corrosion.

More than a stainless steel polish

Our exclusive formulation features citric acid and other proprietary ingredients to provide low-cost and efficient eradication of corrosion-causing free iron. By eliminating these contaminants, CitriSurf 2310 establishes a truly passive surface that is less likely to suffer from natural chemical processes that eat away at metal.

High Viscosity Gel Form

CitriSurf 2310 comes as a high viscosity gel delivered in a 22oz bottle delivering mess-free, targeted application to up to 45 square feet of surface area. Ideal for use on vertical surfaces and railings.

Made in the USA

When used as directed, CitriSurf 2310 meets the requirements of ASTM A967, ASTM A380 and ASTM B600 as well as AMS 2700 standards. Its low-hazard chemistry makes CitriSurf 2310 environmentally suitable for use in all settings. Carefully follow instructions for use on the back of the bottle.

22 oz. trigger sprayer bottles

Prior to use, mix thoroughly by shaking or stirring.  CitriSurf 2310 should be applied liberally to the surface to be treated with a sprayer, brush or roller and left for a period sufficient to remove all free iron and contaminants from the surface. This is typically 15-30 minutes at room temperature, depending on the grade of stainless steel, hardness, and the condition of the surface. This should be determined by testing with your product. (At near-freezing temperatures, treatment time of over an hour may be required for equivalent treatment.) Coverage is approximately 250 square feet per gallon. If heavy rust needs to be removed, non-abrasive Scotch Brite™ or similar may be used halfway through the treatment. Difficult rust or corrosion must be tested to determine the exact best conditions for removal.

Note: CitriSurf 2310 must remain moist during the treatment period. When using CitriSurf 2310 in direct sunlight or other hot environments, it may be necessary to periodically mist or sprinkle the surface lightly with water to keep the CitriSurf from drying.

Rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water and dry completely in air immediately. Drying can be accelerated by use of a hot air blower (i.e. hair dryer), clean cloth, or other drying medium to attain a highly passive surface. Repeat process if needed to obtain desired results.

Dispose of according to all federal, state, and local regulations.

CitriSurf 2310 should be stored at temperatures between 50°F and 120°F in the bottles supplied with the product. (Do Not Allow To Freeze)
